Japan Convention Focuses on Destiny, Prepares for 20th Anniversary

JapanConvention-01

Nu Skin Japan held "Nu Skin Japan Convention 2012" in Yokohama Arena, Kanagawa prefecture on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13, 2012, under the theme: "Nu Generation, Design your destiny.” In the anticipation of Nu Skin Japan's 20th anniversary next year, the event provided a special opportunity to celebrate two decades of history and focus on creating a bright future. Approximately 12,000 distributors from around Japan were in attendance.

On the first day, a Product Workshop was held featuring discussion on the latest aging-care research with leading Chief Scientific Officer Joseph Chang, Ph.D. and Tomas A. Prolla, Ph.D. (Co-founder of LifeGen Technologies and Professor at the University of Wisconsin). Distributors also learned more about the new "genLOC Body Spa," which is scheduled to be officially launched next March in Japan.

The following session was the Business Workshop, in which Daniel R. Chard presented impressive track records showing Nu Skin's robust performance over the past years and presented a roadmap to achieve a Nu Skin 2.0 goal of $5 billion annual revenue. The Business Workshop included a session based on the Five Key Success Drivers of the Success Formula. On the evening of the first day, the company also successfully held Japan's first fund-raising dinner the "Force for Good Gala", with about 500 generous distributors.

On the second day, the corporate management team made presentations at the General Session on Nu Skin's four focuses: People, Product, Culture and Opportunity. In the EXPO area, convention participants enjoyed various exhibitions, including a 20th anniversary museum, a recognition area and product area.

Many distributors voiced how impressed they were, with comments like: "The recognition stages were amazing. Now I'm committed to walking on such a spectacular stage!" and "The convention was filled with a lot of entertaining elements, and we enjoyed the event so much. It was the best convention I've ever attended."
