Innovation Center Continues to Rise

Construction 1

Trucks, cranes, and construction hats have become the norm here at our corporate headquarters, and we’re excited to update you on the progress of the Nu Skin Innovation Center.

“The building continues to take shape and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress,” said Matt Burke, Nu Skin’s director of facilities. “We are more certain than ever that this will truly be a world-class facility.”

“We have designed this state-of-the-art center with our distributors in mind.” Said Elizabeth Thibaudeau, vice president of global opportunity marketing, “The main goal of the project is to create a transformative experience that provides a compelling and consistent journey to celebrate Nu Skin’s history of innovation, commitment to demonstrating a difference, and the remarkable achievements of the global distributor force.”

In actuality, two separate buildings are being constructed, and when completed, a large atrium will connect the two.

In the south building section, construction crews are currently working on decking the third floor, which will be home to the new Network Operations Center. This technologically advanced space will provide the digital backbone supporting Nu Skin’s global sales force.

The north section of the building is being constructed of concrete to accommodate the Lab, which will be housed on the second and third floors. The new lab will provide expanded research and development space to further Nu Skin’s anti-aging research and product innovation.

In speaking of the construction process, General Contractor Ryan Hales said, “In the construction world we have little love for the snow and cold, so this mild weather has really given us the best winter I’ve ever experienced. We’ve been able to move this project forward, and we’re excited about the progress we have made. We are right on schedule.”

When completed, the new building will also include a meeting space large enough for 500, up to 12 new conference rooms, a 140-seat state-of-the-art theatre and hands-on-tours where current and potential distributors and visitors can immerse themselves in the Nu Skin culture and opportunity.  The tour stops will boast technologically advanced, interactive components that make Nu Skin unique.  In addition, the Innovation Center will include sections dedicated to recognizing top sales leaders and the generous individuals whose donations support our humanitarian efforts.

According to Dan Chard, president of global sales and operations, “The kind of person attracted to Nu Skin has a basic drive to make their life—and the lives of those around them—better.”
