Demolition Begins On Kress Building

Third floor

In front of hundreds of employees, distributors and community leaders, the demolition of the Kress building began in exciting fashion.

Steve in Front Loader

Sandie Tillotson kicked off the demolition by removing a large section of the building with an industrial-sized fork lift. Steve Lund followed suit by removing another section with a large front-end loader.

The highlight of the event took place when Blake Roney used a massive track hoe to pull down the entire south wall of the third floor.

In addition to the hundreds of spectators watching from across the street, more than a thousand more watched the event through a live, online feed. To watch the rebroadcast of this feed, click here.

During the next month, the rest of the Kress building will be demolished to make room for the new Nu Skin Innovation Center. This state-of-the-art building will house a world-class research and development laboratory, a network operations center, distributor recognition areas, a retail space and a café. The new building will also add 147,000 square feet for a total of 300,000 square feet when combined with the existing high rise.
