Maximising Your Impact!

Donate VitaMeal and . . .

Your donations multiply

Your donation is increased with a corporate match programme from Nu Skin®.1

You bring children to school

VitaMeal donations are generally distributed through school programmes because parents living in poverty will often send their children to school for a free meal, rather than keep them home to work.

You ensure a consistent flow of food

As a social business initiative, Nourish the Children® facilitates consistent and increasing food donations by offering an incentive to buy, donate and promote VitaMeal.2 This commission is included in the price of the food and allows distributors to invest their time and resources to encourage others to join the cause against malnutrition.3

You build economic opportunity

VitaMeal plants in Malawi and China reduce transportation costs and boost local economies.

You contribute to self-sufficiency

Some of the proceeds from VitaMeal purchases are donated to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation® to fund agricultural education at Mtalimanja Village in Malawi. Increased farm production could someday alleviate the need for food assistance in Malawi.

  1. For every donation of the five-bag option, Nu Skin® adds one bag, feeding an additional child for 30 days. For every eight bags donated via the one and two-bag options, the company adds one bag.
  2. Nu Skin® is a for-profit distributor of nutritional and skin care products in 50 countries and is traded on the New York Stock exchange (NUS). See the published annual report at http://www.nuskinenterprises.com. Nourish the Children® is an initiative of Nu Skin®. This programme leverages the strength and staying power of a for-profit corporation in cooperation with the charitable donations programme and logistical distribution programmes of Feed The Children to help solve the complex world problem of feeding malnourished children. The price charged by Nu Skin® for VitaMeal includes the costs of manufacturing, general overhead, distribution, sales and commissions to Nu Skin® distributors, as well as a reasonable profit margin. Total commissions paid to Nu Skin® distributors average slightly more than 40 percent of Nu Skin®’s total product sales.
  3. The commission for VitaMeal includes a specialised bonus not offered for any other company product. Distributors and customers who commit to ongoing support and encourage others to do the same are recognised as Nourish the Children® Ambassadors or Chief Ambassadors.
