Blake Roney is the Chairman of Nu Skin Enterprises. Roney was one of the founders of the company and served as its President and CEO from 1984 until 1996, when he became the company’s Chairman of the Board. Today Nu Skin Enterprises is one of the largest direct selling companies in the world, and its products are sold in 52 countries throughout the Americas, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. The company's stock is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Roney’s business and civic achievements are numerous and include recognition by the International Business Awards as the 2009 Chairman of the Year, a 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award program for the Utah region, a 2004 honor as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Utah, recent recognition as The Utah County Chamber of Commerce 2011 Pillar of the Valley Award, Chief of Mtalimanja Village in Malawi, Africa and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree from Salt Lake Community College. Roney earned an academic degree in business finance from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management in 1983. The father of eight children, he serves on several community and university boards and is active in civic and religious organizations.

Steven J. Lund
Vice Chairman of the Board, Executive Director of Nourish the Children

Steven J. Lund currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Nu Skin Enterprises. Previously, Mr. Lund served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2003 and before that as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nu Skin Asia Pacific (NSAP) from November 1996 to May 1998. Mr. Lund also served as Executive Vice President of Nu Skin International (NSI) since its inception in 1984.

 

Before joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Mr. Lund was an attorney with a private law firm specializing in litigation and products liability law. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School (1983). He is a member of the Utah, Arizona, and American Bar Associations and has served on the board of directors for the Direct Selling Association. Mr. Lund also participates in various civic and religious leadership roles and currently serves as Chairman of the Utah Valley University Board of Trustees.

Truman Hunt
President, Chief Executive Officer

Truman Hunt was appointed president of Nu Skin Enterprises in January 2003, and was named chief executive officer in May 2003. Under his leadership, the company operates in 52 markets, with recent expansion into China, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

 

Hunt is also active in industry associations, most recently serving as chairman of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) from 2005 to 2008. As chairman, he was committed to expanding the influence of local direct selling associations, fostering a positive regulatory environment, further strengthening industry ethics and increasing the stature of direct selling among key constituencies.

 

He is focused on the company’s mission to be a force for good throughout the world by empowering people to improve lives with rewarding business opportunities, innovative products, and an enriching, uplifting culture. Hunt serves on the executive board for the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation.

 

Prior to his current appointment, Hunt served as vice president and general counsel of Nu Skin Enterprises from 1996 to January 2003. He was also named executive vice president of Nu Skin Enterprises in January 2001 and served as vice president of Legal Affairs from September 1996 to May 1998.

 

Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises, he was president and chief executive officer of Better Living Products, Inc., a Nu Skin affiliate involved in the manufacture and distribution of houseware products sold through traditional retail channels. Prior to joining Better Living Products in 1991, he was a securities and business attorney in private practice. Hunt earned a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and a J.D. degree from the University of Utah.

Senior Vice President

Sandie Neaman Tilltoson serves as Founder and Senior Vice President of Nu Skin Enterprises. In 1984, Tillotson helped found Nu Skin International, assisting in the development of the original Nu Skin product line and the establishment of the company’s unique global marketing plan. Her leadership has helped Nu Skin develop into a substantial international company operating in 52 countries with more than $1 billion in annual sales.  As early as 1993 "Working Woman" magazine named Sandie Tillotson one of the top 10 female business owners in the U.S. In 2001, "Feminine Fortunes" magazine awarded her the honor of being one of just 50 "Women of the New Millennium" alongside Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey, and Sandra Day O'Connor. In 2011, Tillotson was recognized as one of 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business magazine.

Tillotson is also involved in many philanthropic efforts. She is a founder and board member of the Nu Skin "Force for Good Foundation," a private foundation established to improve the lives of children by offering them hope for a life free from disease, illiteracy and poverty. Tillotson also sits on the board as vice president of "Seacology," an international environmental non-profit organization that focuses on saving endangered species, habitats and cultures of island throughout the world. She earned a B.S. degree in education from Brigham Young University and taught in various Utah public schools. Tillotson enjoys her many roles as businesswoman, philanthropist and, most of all, mother to her four children and seven grandchildren.

Neil H. Offen

Former President and CEO of Direct Selling Association

Neil Offen has served as a director at Nu Skin Enterprises since July 2011. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Offen served as president and chief executive officer of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) from 1978 through 2011. In addition, he served as secretary of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations and as vice chairman of the Direct Selling Education Foundation. Before joining DSA in 1971, Offen was legislative and administrative assistant to a United States Congressman and, prior to that, served with the U.S. Department of State’s Agency for International Development. A member of the D.C. Bar, Offen received his juris doctor degree from George Washington University and his bachelor’s degree from Queens College.

Senator E.J. "Jake" Garn
United States Senate, Retired

E.J. "Jake" Garn has served as a director of our company since March 1997. Senator Garn served as a Managing Director of Summit Ventures, LLC, a lobbying firm, from 2000 to 2004. From 1993 to 2000 he served as the Vice Chairman of Huntsman Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States at the time. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Franklin Covey & Co., Inc., a provider of time management seminars and products and Headwaters, Inc., a provider of products, technologies and services to the energy, construction and home improvement industries. From 1974 to 1993, Senator Garn was a member of the United States Senate and served on numerous Senate Committees. He received a B.S. degree from the University of Utah.

Daniel W. Campbell

Managing General Partner, EsNet, Ltd.

Daniel W. Campbell has served as a director at Nu Skin Enterprises since March 1997 and currently serves as the Lead Independent Director and as Chair of the compensation committee. Mr. Campbell has been a managing general partner of EsNet, Ltd., a privately held investment company, since 1994. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Campbell was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of WordPerfect Corporation, a software company, and prior to that was a partner of Price Waterhouse LLP. He received a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University. Mr. Campbell is also active in the community, serving on a number of public and private boards.

Andrew D. Lipman
Partner, Bingham McCutchen, LLP

Andrew D. Lipman has served as a director of our company since May 1999. Since 1988, Mr. Lipman has been a partner and head of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology Group of the Washington, D.C. law firm of Swidler Berlin, LLP. Swidler Berlin recently merged with Bingham McCutchen LLP, an international law firm, and Mr. Lipman continues his position with Bingham McCutchen. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Lipman also served as Senior Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs for MFS Communications, Co., a competitive telecommunications provider. He also currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of Sutron Corporation, a provider of hydrological and meteorological monitoring products, and The Management Network Group, Inc., a telecommunications-related consulting firm. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Rochester and a J.D. degree from Stanford University.

 


Patricia

Patricia A. Negrón

Financial/Business Analyst; Author

An independent consultant to private clients since 2001, Ms. Negrón began her career as an equity analyst in 1992 in the asset management division of United States Trust Company of Boston. There she evaluated companies across all industries based on both qualitative and quantitative investment criteria, with an emphasis on sustainable practices. In 1996, she joined Boston investment bank Adams, Harkness & Hill (now Canaccord Adams) where her research focused on the trademarked Healthy Living theme.  While there, she published Freshen Up Your Portfolio (1997) and Direct Selling: A Distribution Evolution (1999) in addition to co-authoring several other related industry reports. In 1999, Ms. Negrón launched the financial advisory group at Breakaway Solutions, an Internet consulting firm, which she led until 2001. In 2004, she authored The Good Food Guide: A Handbook For Healthy Eating. Since then, she has served as a director on the board of Nu Skin Enterprises, and is currently a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. In addition, she served as an advisor to Goode Partners, a private equity firm, from 2006 to 2010. 

 


Pisano

Thomas R. Pisano
Recently retired as President and CEO, Overseas Military Sales Corporation

Pisano's career has spanned 40 years, with 25 years in the direct selling industry. A seasoned veteran from Avon, Pisano held key leadership positions at the company including vice president of global business development, area vice president for the Americas, area vice president for Latin America/Pacific.  Recently Mr. Pisano retired as president and chief executive officer of Overseas Military Sales Corp. which operates in 30 countries worldwide. Prior to this role, Pisano worked as the company's chief operating officer for five years. He also spent two years as vice president and head of The Topps Company's international division. Pisano graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in industrial management, and holds a master's of business administration from Dartmouth College with an emphasis in finance and marketing.

 


Andersen

Nevin N. Andersen
Retired

Andersen is an accomplished professional with more than 40 years of experience in various financial management roles. Andersen spent nearly 24 years with Shaklee Corporation in various financial roles, including serving as Shaklee's chief financial officer from April 1990 through early 2003 when he retired. In 2005, Shaklee asked Andersen to return to serve as an interim chief financial officer and assist with the transition to a new chief financial officer, which concluded in February of this year. Prior to his work at Shaklee, Andersen worked with the auditing firm Price Waterhouse & Co. for 10 years and as an officer in the U.S. Army Finance Corps. Andersen graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in accountancy.

 


Ussery

David D. Ussery
Retired

A direct selling veteran, Ussery has helped shape the industry by serving in strategic leadership positions for more than 50 years. He began his career with Avon where he worked for more than 30 years in a variety of management roles, including vice president of U.S. field operations, vice president of the company's Pacific field operations, and as area vice president and chairman of the board for Avon Japan, the company's second-largest organization at the time. Most recently, Ussery served as president and representative director for Amway in Japan and Korea. In addition, he served in various leadership roles throughout Asia since joining the company in 1992. Ussery graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in management.
