Nu Skin Force for Good Day

Every year in June, Nu Skin employees across the EMEA region roll up their sleeves and get actively involved in local community projects. This Force for Good Day offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our difference – hands-on and close to the people who need it.

Belgium

Employees of Nu Skin Belgium teamed up in support of three local children centres. At Clair Matin, a Brussels-based children’s home run by the Salvation Army, employees spent a day doing general maintenance work, including cleaning, painting and garden work. Others helped out at Fabota, an after-school and summer day care centre, where they cleaned and helped with the upkeep of the facilities and grounds. Finally, other employees painted the new gym storage at the Sint-Jan School, nursery and primary school in Leuven.

Denmark

The Denmark team will host a Force for Good fundraising night in September at their offices in Havneholmen. They will invite friends, family, distributor leaders and business partners to attend a food sponsored buffet. For entertainment, there will be numerous presentations about the difference made by Force for Good. At the same event, the fundraising will be accomplished through a hosted auction as well as a lottery. Epoch products will be available on site for sale. The fee for attending this fundraiser will be donated to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation.

Germany

Employees of Nu Skin Germany will help Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V. organise their summer party. Besides this annual party, which will take place on 25 August, employees also helped raise funds through Force for Good activities in the German walk-in centre to further help Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V., which supports children with cancer as well as their families.

Hungary
The Nu Skin Budapest employees split forces to support not just one but three children institutes belonging to the Budapest government children’s home. At the first of these centres, the employees laid down a 20-30m2 turf in the garden.  At the second institute, the team painted the impressive fence of the institute.  At the third, Nu Skin employees painted the institut fences and baby beds.

Israel
Nu Skin Israel came together for a full day of activity at the Enosh Association, which promotes mental health issues for individuals dealing with a psychiatric disability, helps improve functioning skills in order to live as independently as possible in the community; and fight stigma. The day included games and challenges in nature. The aim was to get to know the patients better, help them practice social skills and other capabilities and to give them joy.

Norway
The Norwegian team spent a worthwhile day at the Red Cross's children’s after-school activity centre, handling a variety of manual maintenance tasks.

Russia
Nu Skin Russia employees spent a day at the Khotkovo boarding school, for children who suffer from articulation and speech disorders. The team helped with a variety of activities for the children, such as the grand opening of the Pet’s Corner, sport competitions and cleaning the school.

South Africa
To bring joy to the faces of the children, the South African team spent a full day helping out at the Abraham Kriel Children's home in Kempton Park Gauteng.
