Epoch Collection Donation Programme

Did you know that when you purchase the Epoch Force for Good Collection, you make a difference in the lives of the people in Malawi? This special collection contains six bestsellers from the Epoch product line and is presented in a reusable African motif box.

Made from plant extracts, Epoch products offer an excellent way to take care of your skin and the world around you. In fact, for every Epoch product sold, Nu Skin donates US$0.25 to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, and one tree is planted in Malawi thanks to your Epoch Baobab Body Butter purchase. In addition, from every sale of this Epoch Collection, Nu Skin Europe donates €4 to School of Agriculture for Family Independence (SAFI).

SAFI is focused on helping the people of Malawi learn better agricultural techniques to provide for themselves and their families. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world and one in three people in Malawi is threatened by hunger every day. The majority of the people are farmers and live on less than one euro a day.

In 2007, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, in partnership with local non-profit organisations and civic groups, built an actual village at Mtalimanja. This village houses farmers and their families during the first year while they are educated in drip irrigation, sustainable farming, forest conservation, animal husbandry and other subjects. Upon completion of the first year, the students return home to implement the new skills, which will enable them and generations to come to be self-sufficient.

To date, with the donation from this Epoch Force for Good Collection, we have supported the Mtalimanja village by financing projects such as:

  • Provided education for 50 farmers in a two-year course 2009-11. Nu Skin financed books and school supplies to the farmers attending the SAFI courses.
  • In 2010, we purchased 50 hectares of land in order to increase the area for farming.
  • In 2012, we financed the building of a new house to welcome teachers.
  • In 2014, we will be funding a new and exciting project. Stay tuned for more information.

Help us spread the word about our Force for Good work in Malawi. Even a small donation could make a world of difference in the lives of people in Malawi
