Every year in June, Nu Skin employees across the EMEA region roll up their sleeves and get actively involved in local community projects. This Force for Good Day offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our difference – hands-on and close to the people who need it.

Belgium

Employees of Nu Skin Belgium and the Nu Skin EMEA headquarters joined forces in support of three local children centres. At Clair Matin, a Brussels-based children’s home run by the Salvation Army, employees spent a day doing general maintenance work, including cleaning, painting and garden work. Others helped out at Fabota, an after-school and summer day care centre, where they had lunch with the children before spending the afternoons joining in on the activities. Two days later, other employees returned to Fabota to help with the upkeep of the facilities and grounds. Finally, employees painted the fifth grade classroom at the Sint-Jan School, nursery and primary school in Leuven.

Denmark

Nu Skin Denmark invited 15 adolescent girls from Børnehjælpsdagen, a Children’s Aid Foundation that supports some 15,000 children in Denmark that have been taken out of their parents’ custody. The girls enjoyed a morning of styling and treatment sessions, followed by lunch and an afternoon of games. Also, thanks to personal product points donated by the employees, the girls got to take some Nu Skin products home.

Germany

Like last year, the German team gave their support to ‘Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V’, an organisation founded in 1983 that supports children who suffer from cancer, as well as their parents. With the help of local Distributors, an event was organised at the German Nu Skin walk-in centre, including a raffle with some nice branded items. In addition, Distributors made donations that where given to the organisation.

Hungary

Nu Skin Hungary demonstrated the difference by offering their support to ten underprivileged school children from Szigetvár in the Baranya region, who all face the difficulties of being raised by a single parent or suffer the social impact of unemployment. The local Nu Skin team organised a weekend holiday break at Lake Balaton, which coincided with the ageLOC Vitality Sport Event. The children enjoyed a lovely weekend on the beach with swimming, games etc. In addition, they got offered Jungamals vitamin supplements and discovered how VitaMeals are making a difference to children across the world.

Israel

Last year, Nu Skin Israel helped with the renovations of the Ofer day care centre near Haifa, which offers support to children in dangerous and vulnerable situations, as well as their families. This year, the team returned to the centre to offer the children and their mothers a welcome afternoon of pampering and play. While the children enjoyed a variety of activities, games and prizes, the mothers were given relaxing facial treatments. 

The Netherlands

In the Netherlands, the Nu Skin team offered its support to Stichting Deal, an organisation that supports people with mental limitations in all aspects of their life. On the occasion of the Force for Good Day, Nu Skin employees took children of the organisation to the zoo, where they enjoyed a fantastic day out.

South Africa

Nu Skin South Africa gave their support to a local ministry, which offers support to community schools in rural areas. They spent one day visiting the schools – playing with the children, helping out where they could, handing out VitaMeals and donating school supplies.
