Melisa Tantoco Quijano

President, Pacific Region and Southeast Asia Region

 

Melisa Tantoco Quijano serves as the president of the Pacific region and Southeast Asia region, bringing nearly 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the role. Previously, Melisa was the vice president of market services for the company's global Distributor Success Organization based in the U.S. She also served as regional director for Southeast Asia, general manager for Nu Skin Malaysia and Nu Skin Thailand and regional marketing director for the Southeast Asia region. Melisa serves as an honorary board member of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation of Thailand, a board member of the CHILD Foundation in the Philippines and board member of the Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund. Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Melisa had management positions for the Asian operations of Tupperware, Sara Lee Direct Selling Asia, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. and Warner Lambert Inc. Melisa earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines where she was a University Scholar.
 
In 2010, Melisa was named as the Best Asian Executive by the prestigious International Stevie Awards for leading Nu Skin Southeast Asia as the fastest growing region in the Nu Skin world. The award recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners and the organizations they run. Melisa was also appointed a member of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) Association Advisory Council for Asia/Pacific region in 2011 for a 3-year term.

Michael Chen
President, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei
Michael Chen is the President of Nu Skin Enterprises in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei since September 2007.

 

Michael started his career at Nu Skin Enterprises as General Manager of the Pharmanex Division at Nu Skin Taiwan, a position he held for two and a half years. Part of his responsibilities includes sourcing for qualified local manufacturers and ensuring the quality standards met with the company’s high standard requirements. In July 2005, he was promoted to Vice President of Product Marketing, whereby he oversaw the business and marketing operations of the personal care brand, Nu Skin® and nutritional supplement brand, Pharmanex®. He was also concurrently supporting the marketing needs of Nu Skin China when the China market was newly opened.


Michael brings 18 years of pharmaceutical experience to the Company, incorporating his skills in sales, marketing and medical service that includes managing regulatory affairs and clinical studies. Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises,, Michael served as Vice President for Sales & Marketing, North East Asia Region of Ciba Vision Corporation for seven years, where he was responsible in promoting Ophthalmic and Optics business.  


Michael graduated from Kaohsiung Medical University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and completed his Executive Master Business Administration (EMBA) in Tulane University, U.S.
